Protein Chocolate Mint Shake

This Protein Chocolate Mint Shake is a refreshing, nutrient-packed treat that tastes like dessert but fuels like a meal. High in protein, a hint of cool mint, and a boost of high-quality protein, it’s perfect for post-workout recovery, a quick breakfast, or a healthy way to satisfy sweet cravings. Blended with ingredients like almond milk, spinach, and your favorite protein powder, this shake delivers flavor, energy, and essential nutrients—all in one creamy, delicious sip.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oat milk or milk of choice

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds 

  • 1 handful of baby spinach

  • a few fresh mint leaves or 1/2 teaspoon mint extract

  • ice cubes

  • 10-12 chocolate chips to top



Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender. Note: add wet ingredients first for easier blending. Also, add in ice cubes, if using.

  2. Mix everything at high speed until you get a smooth silky texture.

  3. If the shake is too thick, add a little more liquid – milk or water. Blend again until everything is well combined.

  4. Taste the shake and add additional sweetener if the shake is not sweet enough.

  5. Transfer the shake into a glass.

  6. Add toppings (optional): I used cacao nibs. Be creative here and add toppings you like.

  7. Serve and enjoy! Serves 1
