Protein Packed Pizza Bowl

This Protein-Packed Pizza Bowl with Cottage Cheese is a fun, nourishing way to enjoy all the flavors of pizza—without the crust and with a serious boost of protein. Layered with savory marinara, sautéed veggies, and a generous scoop of creamy cottage cheese, this bowl satisfies cravings while fueling your body. It's quick to throw together, customizable with your favorite toppings, and perfect for a low-carb, high-protein meal that tastes just as indulgent as it feels energizing.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

  • fresh basil

  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 4 slices turkey pepperoni (optional)

Optional:

Add mushrooms, peppers, olives

 



Directions:

  1. Place cottage cheese, marinara, oil, basil, any toppings, and Italian seasoning in a microwave safe bowl. Stir to combine. Microwave for 60 seconds.

  2. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni (if using), then microwave an additional 30-45 seconds, or until warmed through and cheese has melted. Top with Parmesan cheese if desired.

  3. Enjoy with bell peppers, carrots, crackers, or warm pita bread if desired, or eat straight from the bowl with a spoon!

  4. Serves 1
