Do you like donuts? Are you craving chocolate? These amazing protein donuts will satisfy any sweet tooth without setting you back on those goals. Packed with protein and easy to make, try this delicious recipe and ditch the guilt!
Ingredients
• 1/4 c all purpose flour or gluten free flour
• 1/4 c chocolate protein powder
• 2 whole eggs
• 1/2 c apple sauce
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Frosting/Glaze
• 1 serving fat-free cream cheese
• 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
• 1/4 c chocolate protein powder

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray donut pan with low-cal cooking spray.
2. Mix pronut ingredients in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
3. In a separate bowl mix ingredients for frosting. Whisk together until smooth. Set aside. 4. Fill donut pan evenly and bake for 15 minutes. (I used a silicone pan since they slip out so easy.)
5. Let donuts cool completely before frosting.
Makes 12 donuts. Serving size 2
